We are looking for an energetic, intelligent, and driven Senior Software Engineer to join our fast-growing engineering team. You will be working mostly on the cloud version of Tosca, our flagship product for continuous testing and effortless automation for enterprise applications. As a senior software engineer you will solve hard problems and bring creative, novel ideas to the product.

What you will do:

• Work closely with engineers, product management, and UX to iteratively design great, scalable user-experiences that drive our business goals
• Collaborate within and across teams to design and develop fit for purpose solutions
• Help maintain plugins for our automation engines
• Collaborate with SREs and other roles to operate our product across various regions and deployments
• Review code of your teammates and actively share your knowledge
• Coach less experienced engineers
• Collaborate across teams to implement good engineering practices, be opinionated
• Continuously educate yourself on latest technologies
• Run experiments to figure out the fit of new technologies, approaches, or patterns

Who you are:

• 4-5+ years of software engineering experience
• Experience with JavaScript/TypeScript and object-oriented programming languages, preferably with C#
• Experience with developing and operating cloud-deployed services (Azure/AWS, Docker, Kubernetes)
• Experience working in an agile development team
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to translate customer needs into product solutions
• You can make reasoned decisions and explain your thinking
• You have a good overview of current tech trends
• Proven experience in producing high-quality code and implementing engineering best practices
• You are comfortable with change: we are building very new products, and we are continuously evaluating if we are on track with customers and internal stakeholders. Sometimes we will need to pivot and get back to the drawing board
• Fluent in English

If you’ve got some of these skills, even better:

• Experience with DevOps pipelines
• Experience with Cloud Operations (monitoring, observability, logging, IaC, …)
• Experience with React and/or .NET
• Experience with Model Context Protocol (MCP) or AI engineering

We are under legal obligation in Austria to indicate the minimum salary, which 53.802 EUR gross per year for this position, according to the IT collective agreement. However, our attractive compensation packages follow current market salaries and can therefore be significantly above the indicated minimum salary.
