About the Role:

This Lead HR Business Partner will support our Philippines operations and regional APAC initiatives, reporting to the Director, APAC People Partners. They are a trusted HR business partner and subject matter expert on HR matters with deep Philippines market expertise. Responsible for providing input on business strategy from a people management and organizational design perspective while ensuring full compliance with Philippine employment regulations. They will provide business-driven input to Centers of Excellence (CoE) enabling the team to create business focused solutions and to leverage the competitive advantage that is HR across the Philippines and the broader APAC region.

Responsibilities:

  • Trusted thought leader/partner to Philippines business teams on critical HR related processes and decisions (organizational design, talent management, change management and employee management and relations) while maintaining strict adherence to Philippine labor laws and DOLE regulations.

  • In concert with the APAC HR leader, partners on the creation of the strategic HR plan and objectives while collaborating with Global HR Leaders to understand business conditions and priorities across Philippines and APAC markets.

  • Frame and solve business problems with Philippines market context, collaborating and coordinating with a range of internal stakeholders to make recommendations on a broad range of issues including compliance, labor relations, and employee engagement.

  • Lead projects and major work streams related to People strategy for Philippines market while supporting regional APAC initiatives, utilizing fact based, quantitative analysis to support recommendations and ensure regulatory compliance.

  • Establish and maintain key local HR policies and processes ensuring alignment with Philippine labor code, implementing standardized procedures for employee lifecycle management, performance reviews, disciplinary actions, and termination processes while maintaining compliance documentation.

  • Drive compliance operations excellence by conducting regular audits of HR practices, managing relationships with government agencies (DOLE, BIR, SSS, PhilHealth, Pag-IBIG), ensuring timely filing of mandatory reports, and maintaining accurate employee records in accordance with Philippine regulatory requirements.

  • Change agent helping enable large-scale people and/or change management initiatives including business transformations, organizational design, evolution, and development across Philippines operations with regional APAC collaboration.

  • Communicate with all levels of the organization, senior management, executive, functional, or regional teammates in clear, concise, and impactful way, leveraging cultural intelligence for Philippines market dynamics.

  • Support ongoing development opportunities for employees and managers through training, programming, performance management, coaching, career path definition, competencies, etc., tailored to Philippines business culture and practices.

  • Coach Managers in leading Philippines/regional teams, living corporate values and championing global standards, policies, and processes while adapting to local market requirements.

  • Provide cross-geography coverage for other APAC markets during peak periods or team absences to ensure seamless regional HR service delivery.

  • This role is an individual contributor role.

Qualifications:

  • Experience as HR Partner supporting people leaders in Philippines with deep understanding of Philippine employment laws, labor relations, DOLE regulations, and compliance requirements

  • Strong compliance operations background with proven experience establishing HR policies, maintaining regulatory documentation, and managing government agency relationships in the Philippines

  • Experience in dynamic environments scaling and growing organizations within Philippines and/or APAC region

  • Player/coach with ability to operate independently or as a member of a team and able to navigate ambiguity with a positive outlook while managing Philippines-specific regulatory complexities

  • Strong learning agility, business/HR acumen with specific expertise in Philippines market dynamics and cultural intelligence

  • Strong influencing and consultative skills combined with problem-solving skills, particularly in multicultural and cross-geography contexts

  • 12+ years of Human Resources experience within Philippines market, preferably within a global technology organization with minimum 5 years Philippines-specific experience

  • Proficiency in Workday HRIS platform and HR analytics capabilities

  • Fluency in English with excellent communication skills

Location & Work Arrangement:

  • Based in Manila, Philippines on a mid-shift schedule with start times between 2:00 PM - 4:00 PM Manila time

  • Individual contributor role with end-to-end accountability for Philippines HR delivery and regional APAC collaboration

  • Hybrid work flexibility available within the mid-shift operational requirements
