Responsibilities:

• Leading and managing an agile software engineering team, ensuring effective collaboration and performance.

• Growing, managing and coaching the existing team and successfully driving recruitment (together with HR).

• Effectively driving an agile software development process across several software engineering teams, overseeing requirements definition, product build, delivery, and successful product launches.

• Foster a culture of innovation, accountability, and collaboration within the engineering organization.

• Promote a team culture that prioritizes quality and innovation, staying abreast of the latest technologies and determining their optimal application to meet business needs.

• Working closely with other department heads and Product management to lead the implementation of a comprehensive and integrated product roadmap, ensuring alignment with business goals.

• Work closely with Product Management to define and prioritize the engineering roadmap.

• Maintain effective communication with stakeholders, ensuring transparency and alignment on project progress and objectives.

• Identify and mitigate risks associated with engineering projects, ensuring timely delivery and quality outcomes.

• Advancing the design and architecture of the products utilizing the newest technologies and tools, to continually evolve the product line.

Qualifications:

• At least 2+ years of Software development leadership experience

• Hands-on experience with delivering SaaS products

• Proficiency in using Jira and Git

• Strong technical background in cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP), microservices architecture, and modern programming languages.

• Communication skills, with the ability to translate technical capabilities into business value for diverse stakeholders.

• Track record of success in job performance and progression and the proven ability to both build credibility with senior management team as well as motivating teams

• Significant depth in software development in a fast-paced, growing SaaS company, including having shipped multiple cloud products
