Role Description

As a Junior UX Designer, you will work within a cross-functional team to support design projects and assist in creating user-centered designs for our enterprise software products such as Tosca. This entry-level role offers an opportunity to grow within the UX field, learning from experienced designers and contributing to the user experience of our products.

Candidate Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), Psychology, or a related field.
• Portfolio showcasing design projects and understanding of design principles.
• Basic knowledge of design tools such as Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, or similar.
• Ability to take feedback and incorporate it into design iterations.
• Strong communication skills in English and a collaborative mindset.
• Passion for creating user-friendly and accessible experiences.

Typical Role Responsibilities:

• Assist senior designers in creating wireframes, prototypes, and user flows.
• Conduct user research and usability testing under guidance.
• Collaborate with developers and product managers to understand project requirements.
• Participate in design critiques and incorporate feedback.
• Maintain design documentation and contribute to design system updates.

Examples of Work

• Supporting the design and prototyping of a new feature for a project management software.
• Conducting usability testing for a small feature and summarizing findings.
• Collaborating with other designers to create a consistent design language for a software application.

We are under legal obligation in Austria to indicate the minimum salary, which is EUR 33.544 gross per year for this position according to the IT collective agreement. However, our attractive compensation packages follow current market salaries and can therefore be significantly above the indicated minimum salary.
