Job Description

We are looking to hire a Test Automation Engineer to you join our R&D team in Vienna. In this role you will interact with the community of automation engineers on our technologies with the desire to grow with the team by sharing your passion for continuous improvement, technology monitoring, coaching people and sharing knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate on the development of a state-of-the-art product that helps our customers with their mobile testing needs

• Develop and maintain the suite of automated E2E tests for this product and drive the testing strategy of the team

• Work in collaboration with engineers, architects, QA and DevOps teams on different projects for continuous integration and rapid delivery of new features

• Be proactive on improvements in technologies, processes and methodology

• Maintain and improve the specific test infrastructure of the mobile team

• Represent the team in meetings regarding QA

• Continually contribute to and challenge decisions made by the team to ensure the best outcome for our organization

• Teach, and openly learn from your teammates

Requirements

• Experience in the field of test automation

• Understanding of mobile technologies (Android, iOS)

• Hands on experience with mobile automation technologies (Appium, WDA, etc.)

• Comfortable in a fast-paced environment

• Experience with state-of-the-art test automation platforms (e.g. Tosca) or willingness to learn

• Working knowledge of

  • GIT (source control)

  • CI/CD tooling (GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, etc.)

Nice to haves

• Experience with test automation for web applications

• Experience with Playwright, Selenium or similar

• Passionate about technology monitoring and the discovery of technological innovations

• Curious, autonomous, and rigorous, with the desire to share good practices

• Excellent troubleshooting and communication skills ((also with external customers)
