Tricentis is seeking a Lead Software Test Engineer for our fast-growing integrations team.

In this role you will be an integral part of an Engineering Integrations team focused on improving the interoperability of Tricentis’ continuous testing products and delivering seamless experiences for our customers as they utilize the full suite of Tricentis products.

This Austin, TX based position reports to the Director of Platform Engineering.

Responsibilities:

  • Developing test automation to support delivery of quality software
  • Design, create, and maintain test automation which provides a healthy suite of automated tests
  • Working in collaboration with your team on different projects for continuous integration and rapid delivery of new features.
  • Developing and maintaining both manual and automated test cases
  • Building testing strategies that allow for a range of techniques to deliver high quality software. Driving integration testing planning and execution with other teams.
  • Mentoring other team members and automation engineers on the best practices from the testing and automation areas.
  • Contributing to the definition, construction, and monitoring of automated test key performance indicators (KPIs)
  • Providing feedback to Tricentis product teams about your experience using Tricentis products in our software quality practices

Requirements:

  • 7+ years of experience in the field of test automation
  • Strong understanding of Cloud native technologies (AWS/Azure/GCP)
  • Demonstrable experience working with agile (Scrum/Kanban) & DevOps practices
  • Ability to work in a hybrid model, working from a Tricentis office location 3 days per week.
  • Active participation as a member of the engineering team contributing your expertise in delivering quality software.
  • Partner cross-organizationally to identify, design, and deliver solutions that help our products work better together.

Working knowledge of:

  • C#, Java and/or Typescript
  • GIT (source control)
  • CI/CD tooling (GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, Jenkins, etc.)

Nice to haves:

  • Tosca, qTest, Neoload
  • Playwright, Selenium, Cucumber, Jemmy
  • Passionate about technology monitoring and the discovery of technological innovations
  • Curious, autonomous, and rigorous, with the desire to share good practices
