Summit Spine and Joint Centers (SSJC) is on track to become the largest comprehensive spine and joint care provider in the state of Georgia while providing clinical, surgical and imaging services to our patients. We are seeking a full-time, self motivated medical Financial Liaison offices who loves to transform lives through exceptional patient care!
Responsibilities:
Responsibilities:
- Communicate and educate patients about payment responsibility of ASC appointments for surgical procedures
- Documents appropriately regarding all actions, authorization details and modifications
- Formidable knowledge of copay's, deductibles, co-insurance for medical benefits and the ability to educate patients on these topics
- Able to prioritize, work accurately, work well independently and with others and able to maintain focus under pressure.
- Inform Insurance team of any pending prior authorizations needed for approval
- Scheduling Peer to Peer meetings with insurance companies and in house providers
Requirements:
- Working knowledge of medical terminology, insurance plans
- Proficiency with EMR (eClinical Works), 1+ years' experience preferred
- 1+ years of experience in a medical setting preferred
