POSITION DESCRIPTION

TITLE: Sales Consultant

POSITION SUMMARY

This position is field based, new business development and will travel approximately 80% of the time within the territory.

Our Sales Consultant is responsible, under director level supervision, for initial and follow-up sales calls on prospective patients to explain the use of our Pain Management device indicated for post-procedural pain and edema, Pulsed Electro-Magnetic Field (PEMF), non-narcotic option for patients experiencing chronic/acute pain. Selling to Indian Health Service in Native Alaskan Healthcare Systems.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Performs initial and follow-up sales calls on prospective clients.
• Must be knowledgeable in all aspects of the use, operation and maintenance of system.
• Develops sales plan according to the objectives of the company.
• Documents sales activity for supervisor.

REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor’s degree required
• Intermediate MSOffice skills, to include Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook.

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE

• One year of sales experience in the medical field
• Familiarity with medical terminology as it pertains to pain management
• Indian Health Services experience preferred

• Ability to clearly present written information and findings
• Ability to communicate concepts
• Ability to make executive level presentations
• Ability to interact effectively with co-workers and outside contacts

PHYSICAL POSITION REQUIREMENTS

• Ability to travel 80% of the time.
• Must have reliable transportation.
• Ability to fly on an airplane, as required.
• Ability to drive a motor vehicle for long periods of time.
• Ability to occasionally lift up to 40 lbs.
• Ability to hear and speak English clearly.
• Ability to operate typical office equipment including personal computer, copier, telephone, scanner, printer.
