Description

ProxsysRx is currently recruiting for a 340B Operations Manager to add to our Corporate Office Team! The 340B Operations Manager is responsible for monitoring the compliance and optimization of the 340B program for covered entity clients. This role supervises 340B Account Specialists as they assist clients to improve compliance and optimize savings. This position will also coordinate with internal parties for account reporting, audits, and facilitating internal and client data systems.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Monitor the daily activities of the 340B Account Specialists including reviewing activity tracker, audit results, and conducting 1-on-1 and group meetings to address barriers and challenges to program success.
  • Ensure company 340B Workplan captures necessary tasks and steps to ensure successful covered entity onboarding and optimization.
  • Ensure tasks and projects for covered entity clients are completed in a timely manner, communicating with internal stakeholders as needed to improve client outcomes.
  • Coordinate the training and development of assigned 340B team members; monitor effectiveness and adjust according, seeking assistance from internal stakeholders as necessary.
  • Contribute to the continued building and development of ProxsysRx’s 340B plans and processes in order to achieve improved results.
  • Review covered entity profiles completed by 340B Account Specialists for completeness and accuracy.
  • Work with 340B Account Specialists to implement program improvements at assigned covered entities as appropriate based on covered entity workplans or other area for improvement.
  • Participate in and prepare for Account Report meetings for covered entities by ensuring material creation is comprehensive and accurate, contains audit finding narratives, recommendations for increased program performance and compliance; attend client kick-off meetings and non-assigned account meetings as required.
  • Serve as subject matter expert on 340B program best practices; educate internal and external parties.
  • Perform analysis of covered entity 340B program elements to identify potential improvements based on data, trends, financial metrics, or changes in policy applicable to covered entity.
  • Review covered entities’ 340B program policies and procedures alongside 340B Account Specialist at least annually; draft revisions and provide to covered entity for submission to appropriate committees (P&T, Med Ex, etc.); assist in implementation of policy or procedure changes.
  • Track financial impact over time; identify root causes of adverse trends and make recommendations to improve program financial stability.
  • Seek state Medicaid duplicate discount guidelines, advise 340B TPAs and covered entity stakeholders on necessary changes; monitor and audit state Medicaid claims of assigned covered entities to ensure compliance to prevent potential duplicate discount rebates and prescription diversion.
  • Evaluate patient eligibility for qualified and non-qualified patients in mixed-use areas and clinics by reviewing patient medical records, insurance plans, and hospital status as applicable based on company’s responsibilities to client.
  • Perform audits on assigned covered entities on scheduled basis including monitoring reconciliation process and resolving identified issues.
  • Communicate audit deficiencies and improvement opportunities internally and externally to appropriate parties.
  • Track documentation requirements to improve 340B qualifying criteria through provider referrals.
  • Prepare 340B contract pharmacy service agreements from appropriate template for review.
  • Develop processes to limit program liabilities and prevent duplicate program discounts and prescription diversions for assigned covered entities.
  • Supervisory Responsibilities: Directly supervise 340B Account Specialist in accordance with company policies and applicable laws including interviewing, hiring, and training; planning, assigning and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining direct reports; addressing complaints and resolving problems.

Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited four-year college or university in Business Management, Hospital or Healthcare Administration, Pharmacy, Accounting, or Finance strongly preferred.
  • Five years related experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience required.
  • Management experience preferred.
  • Pharmacy Technician license or CPhT strongly preferred.
  • Proficient personal computer skills including electronic mail, record keeping, routine database activity, word processing, spreadsheet, graphics, etc.
  • Self-driven individual with motivation to grow and excel within a dynamic team environment.
