About the Role

Mitratech is growing through acquisitions, and each deal brings a new set of financial data that must be understood, transformed, and accurately migrated into our core systems. We're looking for a Senior Finance & Data Analyst to join our Post-Merger System Integration (PMSI) team and own that process end-to-end.

This is not a traditional finance role, and it's not a traditional data role. It sits right in between. You'll need to understand how acquired companies recognise revenue, structure their contracts, and run their billing operations — and then use that understanding to transform their data into formats that work inside Salesforce and NetSuite, in a way that's clean, compliant, and audit-ready.

The ideal candidate comes from a finance or accounting background and has developed a strong affinity for data — someone who is as comfortable interrogating a messy dataset as they are reading a revenue schedule. You don't need to be a software engineer, but you do need to be highly analytical, independently motivated, and genuinely curious about how businesses work.

What You'll Do

  • Lead end-to-end data transformation for full-system migrations from acquired entities
  • Analyse and interpret source financial data from systems such as QuickBooks, NetSuite, Excel, and other CRMs
  • Develop a deep understanding of each acquired entity's revenue recognition policies, contracting models, billing structures, and sales processes
  • Translate that understanding into data logic — rebuilding data structures to align with GAAP-compliant revenue recognition in our systems
  • Identify, clean, and correct data inconsistencies and gaps before and during migration
  • Translate acquired entity data into formats compatible with Salesforce CPQ and ERP processes
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with acquired entity accounting and operations teams, as well as internal Sales, Finance, and Systems teams
  • Participate in discovery sessions to ensure accurate data interpretation
  • Perform data validation and reconciliation post-migration, identify discrepancies, and drive issue resolution
  • Assist with post-migration revenue clean-up as needed, ensuring data integrity across billing and accounting operations
  • Support broader PMSI team initiatives, including testing and process improvement, as needed

What We're Looking For

Required

  • 3–7+ years of experience in finance, accounting, revenue operations, or a closely related field
  • Solid understanding of GAAP revenue recognition principles — you know when revenue should be recognised and why
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel for data manipulation, reconciliation, and analysis
  • Experience working with or alongside ERP and CRM systems (NetSuite, Salesforce, QuickBooks, or similar)
  • Proven ability to work independently with complex, incomplete, or inconsistent datasets
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills — you ask questions before you build solutions
  • Excellent English communication skills and ability to translate financial processes into data logic
  • Intellectual curiosity and the initiative to learn new business models without being told to

Nice to Have

  • Hands-on experience with Salesforce, including CPQ or similar tools
  • Familiarity with Alteryx or similar data transformation tools — a significant plus if certified
  • Background in SaaS or subscription-based business models
  • Experience with mergers, acquisitions, or system migrations

What Success Looks Like

  • Accurate, audit-ready data migrations delivered on time
  • Proactive identification and resolution of data issues before they become problems
  • Clear communication of risks, assumptions, and progress to the team
  • Strong working relationships with both acquired entity teams and internal stakeholders
  • A track record of learning new business models quickly and applying that knowledge to the data

Why This Role

This is a high-impact, highly autonomous position within a growing team. Every acquisition Mitratech completes runs through this function — meaning your work directly enables the company's growth strategy. The project pipeline spans the next two or more years, and the scope of the role will evolve as the team grows. If you want variety, ownership, and the chance to develop expertise across both financial operations and data systems, this is the role for you.

We are an equal-opportunity employer that values diversity at all levels. All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, gender, national origin, age, sexual orientation, gender identity, disability, or veteran status.
