HUMAN RESOURCES BUSINESS PARTNER – INDIA

Job Summary:

The Human Resource Business Partner will lead and direct the routine functions of the Human Resources (HR) department. This role will interpret and enforce company policies and provide coaching to managers on all aspects of leadership and employee relations. As a key culture leader in the organization, the HR Business Partner will learn about the key objectives and challenges of each business function, build relationships with stakeholders throughout the company, and partner with the broader HR organization to execute tactical and strategic initiatives.

Responsibilities:

  • Partners with the global HR team to understand and execute the organization’s human resource and talent strategy particularly as it relates to current and future talent needs, recruiting, retention, learning & development, and performance.
  • Expertise in crafting and executing innovative strategies that enhance the employee journey at every phase – from onboarding, upskilling, growth & development, retention techniques to exit interviews
  • Provides support and guidance to staff when complex, specialized, and sensitive questions and issues arise such as performance issues, terminations, and investigations.
  • Analyse trends in local pay & benefits and propose improvements to ensure Mitratech is positioned to attract & retain the best talent.
  • Provide guidance & support to managers on performance improvement, disciplinary matters and potential terminations.
  • Regularly review & act on engagement survey feedback for their area of responsibility, working with managers on action plans & local initiatives.
  • Work with the Training team to create and implement L & D programs supporting development opportunities for employees.
  • Work with members of the wider HR team on projects to improve effectiveness of our HR processes & systems, and implementation of organization-wide initiatives, such as recognition and wellness programs.
  • Manage exit interviews and support the business in analyzing the data and provide innovative solutions to improve retention rates.
  • Perform other relevant duties as assigned.

  • Thorough knowledge of employment-related laws and regulations.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
  • Proficiency with or the ability to quickly learn the organization’s HRIS and talent management systems.

Education and Experience:

  • Post-graduate qualification in Human Resource management preferred.
  • A minimum of five years of human resource management experience preferred, including management of payroll & benefits.
