What We Offer
Overview
The RN Coding and OASIS Review Specialist PRN is responsible for the review of the individual patient medical record / Plan of Care for compliance with Medicare/Medicaid/Managed Care regulations and company policies, making recommendations for improvements. The position facilitates recommendations and modifications to clinical documentation through concurrent interaction with physicians, verbally and electronically, and other members of the healthcare team. This position also reviews clinical information for appropriateness and assigns accurate diagnosis codes as it relates to guidelines. The goal of this position is to assist other team members to ensure a complete medical record / Plan of Care and coding accuracy is in place to support individual outcome-based care plans, and timely coding and OASIS submission guidelines.
