Join Us in the Fight Against Cyber Threats!

This is the senior technical voice of our sales motion, a hybrid of principal-level sales engineering and field CTO. You bring the technical depth to win complex managed-services deals and the strategic altitude to earn architecture-level trust with senior technology and security leaders. You own the technical case throughout the sales cycle, represent Digital Hands as a credible technical authority in the market, and partner with our Field CISO and advisory practice to turn strategic conversations into engagements.
This is a unique, rewarding role by design. You are as comfortable whiteboarding a SOC integration with a security architect as you are framing a multi-year posture strategy with a CTO. You sell managed outcomes and security posture, not products.

*This is a remote role in the eastern or central U.S time zones.

What You’ll Do

Lead the Technical Sale

  • Run technical discovery to map customer environments, gaps, and requirements to Digital Hands’ managed services and the USPM framework.
  • Architect and document solutions that connect our SOC, detection and response, and advisory capabilities to the customer’s stack and delivery model.
  • Own proofs of value, pilots, and technical validation through to the technical close.
  • Lead technical responses to RFPs, RFIs, and security questionnaires with accurate, persuasive content.
  • Partner with account executives and channel managers to shape deal strategy and advance opportunities.

Serve as Field CTO (Strategic Technical Advisor)

  • Earn architecture-level trust with CTOs, CIOs, enterprise and security architects, and CISOs on strategic and complex accounts.
  • Bring a credible point of view on where security is heading, including identity security and agentic-AI governance, exposure management, cloud, and automation, and translate it into what it means for the customer.
  • Represent Digital Hands as a technical authority in the market through speaking, workshops, and thought leadership that build the USPM story.
  • Partner with the Field CISO to pair executive and technical trust on the accounts that need both.

Enable the Channel and Partner Ecosystem

  • Support co-sell motions through joint calls, technical workshops, and solution design.
  • Enable partner sales engineers on positioning, differentiation, and reference architectures.
  • Build and maintain technical enablement assets for the partner ecosystem.
  • Act as the technical liaison between partners and internal advisory and operations teams.

Support Delivery and Advisory Engagements

  • Own a clean handoff from pre-sales into onboarding and service delivery, staying engaged through implementation.
  • Partner with the Field CISO and the advisory practice to help deliver initial assessment engagements, bringing the technical depth to translate findings into architecture and roadmap.
  • This role supports delivery; it does not own ongoing technical account management, adoption, or retention.

Shape Service Evolution

  • Feed voice-of-customer insight into service architecture, delivery standards, and differentiation.
  • Contribute to playbooks, reference architectures, and technical positioning that sharpen how Digital Hands goes to market.

What You Bring

  • 8+ years in cybersecurity, with senior pre-sales, solutions architecture, or field-CTO-type experience at an MSSP, MDR provider, or security vendor.
  • Deep fluency in security operations: SOC workflows, threat detection and response, SIEM, and EDR/XDR, along with identity security and managed-services delivery models.
  • The range to hold the room at two altitudes, whiteboarding architecture with engineers and framing strategy with executives.
  • A track record leading RFP responses and proof-of-value engagements, and supporting both direct and channel/partner sales.
  • Familiarity with the channel ecosystem (VARs, distributors, MDF, co-sell programs).
  • Clear, persuasive communication with both technical practitioners and business leaders.
