Job Summary: The Groundskeeper is responsible for maintaining the overall appearance, cleanliness, and safety of outdoor areas and landscapes. This role ensures that lawns, gardens, walkways, parking areas, and facilities remain well-kept, safe, and visually appealing year-round. Key Responsibilities: Maintain grounds by mowing, trimming, edging, raking, and pruning trees and shrubs. Plant and care for flowers, grass, shrubs, and trees to enhance property aesthetics. Remove litter, debris, and leaves from outdoor areas, walkways, and parking lots. Operate and maintain landscaping tools and equipment safely (mowers, trimmers, blowers, etc.). Monitor irrigation systems and make minor repairs or adjustments as needed. Apply fertilizers, pesticides, and other lawn treatments under safety guidelines. Assist with seasonal tasks such as snow removal, leaf collection, and storm cleanup. Inspect grounds for safety hazards or damage and report issues promptly. Support maintenance staff with light outdoor repairs and upkeep as needed. Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Previous experience in groundskeeping, landscaping, or maintenance preferred. Ability to operate basic landscaping equipment safely and effectively. Basic understanding of irrigation, planting, and lawn care techniques. Physically able to perform outdoor work in varying weather conditions. Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently or as part of a team. Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform repetitive physical tasks. Frequent standing, walking, bending, and kneeling. Exposure to outdoor elements such as heat, cold, rain, and sunlight. Work Schedule: Monday through Friday, with occasional weekends or evenings during peak seasons. Pay Range: [$13-$16 per hour]
