Ascent360 is seeking a Data Analyst to join our growing team. This role focuses on the following:

  • Data Analysis and QC of incoming data to make sure the data is accurate and complete for ingestion into our CDP.
  • Map the data to CDP fields
  • Gather business requirements when needed to understand client needs and expectations
  • Act as a technical support person for existing clients with data issues. You will play a key role in translating client needs into actionable technical specifications for our Engineering and Product teams, ensuring seamless data flow into the Ascent360 CDP.

The ideal candidate is a highly analytical problem-solver with experience in SaaS environments, data-driven systems, and cross-functional collaboration. Experience working with hospitality systems such as PMS, POS, booking engines, ticketing, or resort management tools—is a strong plus.

Essential Functions:

  • Analyze client datasets, source systems, and business processes to ensure clean, accurate integration into the CDP.
  • Support the creation of data mapping, transformation rules, and validation requirements.
  • Perform data quality reviews, troubleshoot issues, and recommend sustainable long-term solutions.
  • Participate in system testing, UAT coordination, deployment support, and post-launch validation.
  • Document system processes, integration standards, and reusable requirements artifacts.
  • Identify opportunities to streamline onboarding processes, improve standardization, and enhance product functionality.
  • Support change management and training efforts when introducing new features or integrations.
  • Embrace A.I. to build code, pull data from API’s, etc. more efficiently and accurately.
  • Partner with Integration, Product, and Engineering teams to guide solution design and ensure alignment with platform capabilities.

Minimum Requirements:

Education
  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Business Analytics, Computer Science, or related field—or equivalent experience
Experience
  • 2+ years of experience in one or more of the following:
    • Business analysis or systems analysis
    • SaaS platform implementations
    • Data-driven marketing, CDP, CRM, or MarTech systems
    • Systems or data integrations
  • Experience analyzing and validating data quality
  • Experience documenting business processes, workflows, and system interactions
  • Understanding of ETL/ELT concepts and data transformation best practices
  • Hospitality system experience (PMS, POS, ticketing, reservation platforms, etc.) strongly preferred
  • Experience with Agile deliverables (user stories, acceptance criteria) is a plus
  • Experience with Power BI or other BI tools is a plus

Specialized Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

  • SQL experience required; ability to query and validate data
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
  • Experience with, or willingness to embrace, A.I. to assist performance efficiency and accuracy
  • Ability to operate in a fast-paced, deadline-driven SaaS environment
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to translate between business and technical stakeholders
  • Proficiency in Excel (pivot tables, lookups, data analysis)
  • Strong documentation skills, including functional specs, process flows, and requirements writing
  • Ability to perform product demos, client training, or onboarding walkthroughs as needed
  • Detail-oriented with a commitment to data quality and process improvement

Compensation and Benefits:

  • Salary range of $70,000 to $110,000 and equity in our high growth SaaS company
