Summit Spine and Joint Centers is a rapidly expanding Pain Management group looking to add an experienced medical insurance authorization specialist to our team. With t ambulatory surgery centers and twenty-three clinic locations across Metro Atlanta, SSJC is winning the race to become the largest comprehensive spine and joint care provider in the state of Georgia, and is looking for a motivated and hard-working candidate that can "hit the ground running"
Responsibilities:
-Research, follow up and resolve open & pending procedure authorizations in a timely manner
-Verify insurance eligibility and benefits of prospects/ referrals
-Comfortable working in a growing, dynamic organization and able to navigate change.
-Address insurance related patient concerns
-Self-motivated with ability to multi-task, prioritize work in a fast-paced, team environment
Requirements:
-Minimum of 2 years experience in an outpatient medical office working with insurance
-Excellent knowledge of CPT coding, ICD.10 coding and medical pre-certification protocols required
-Experience in Pain Management preferred
-Experience using eClinicalWorks preferred
